In 2005, Snack Products was the first grower to specialize in growing and packing snack cucumbers. The growing demand for quality and flavorful snack cucumbers has allowed us to expand from one to four growing locations and one packaging location over the years, and together with the entire team, we have been able to position ourselves as the market leader!
Snack Products has an innovative and sustainable nature and is therefore constantly evolving. For example, the latest developments and innovations such as LED lighting, high-tech sorting and packaging lines and a biomass power plant are being used at our cultivation sites.

At an early age, Peter, Gert and Willy developed an interest in greenhouse farming at home on their parents’ farm. Here she grew cucumbers every year, with tomatoes in the fall. While searching for new cucumber varieties, Gert saw opportunity in a small cucumber. The first trials were then launched in 2005. Which was the very beginning of the snack cucumber and its further development. A product that allowed us as a company to clearly differentiate ourselves from standard cucumber growers.
On June 12, 2012, the starting gun sounded for
Snack Products at its location on Meerkoetweg. With both snack cucumbers and cucumbers in the early years, and then being able to switch completely to snack cucumbers starting in 2017.
In the years since, we have not been idle and many events have been allowed to follow.
